Seniors Will Unjustly Suffer if Barack Obama Health Care Bill Passes

In an editorial entitled "How House Bill Runs Over Grandma in Investor's Business Daily, it was reported how President Obama was confronted by a North Carolina woman asking if "everyone that's Medicare age will be visited and told they have to decide how they wish to die." Obama joked that he hadn't yet hired enough bureaucrats to conduct such an operation.




It would be funny if it were not true. The fact is the House bill "compels seniors to submit to a counseling session every five years (and more often if they become sick or go into a nursing home) about alternatives for end-of-life care" (pages 425-430).




In other words, your grandmother will be told to make plans to end her life early because her care will be too costly. After all, it is her duty to not to be a burden. Obama explained they will "encourage the use of living wills" that terminate otherwise viable lives through "do not resuscitate" (DNR) legal releases.




This is nothing less than state sponsored euthanasia. Hitler began his reign of terror by his application of the brutal, Darwinian ethic, survival of the fittest. He started killing the disabled and infirm because they were considered to be a burden on the state.




Hitler rationalized the killing of innocent people in an effort to advance his fascist, national socialist agenda. In the name of doing whats best for the good of society, Hitler trivialized human life. Ultimately millions ended up paying with their lives.




In the name of the public good, Obama and the Congress are on the same anti-Christian, pro-death path. Page 354 limits the services to special needs patients. Will handicapped and disabled be denied care because their lives are considered a burden or they lack a suitable quality of life?




Under Obamas rationed government run healthcare system, some all-knowing, all-seeing bureaucrat will play God with the lives of our loved ones (page 30). This bill is chillingly Hitlerian in its orientation.




From Euthanasia to Eugenics

Not only will this bill end the lives of the elderly, it will expand and subsidize the killing of babies through abortion. The Capps Amendment nationalizes free abortions for low-income urban neighborhoods, fulfilling the dream of eugenicist Margaret Sanger that minority babies will be the first exterminated. This is a Planned Parenthood full employment dream come true.




Pro-Life Representative Chris Smith said about the Capps Amendment: "It's one of the most deceptive amendments I have ever seen. The bottom line is the plan itself will be subsidizing abortion-on-demand, with taxpayer funding comingled, and the numbers of abortions will go up significantly."




One little known provision (p.993) puts health care clinics in public schools. This means kids will be given birth control and access to abortions without parental knowledge.




Fascist Totalitarian Health Care.

When the government takes over health care what will happen to Christian health professionals who are pro-life? Christian pharmacists in the state of Washington are already forced to dispense "Plan-B" abortion pills against their conscience. Will Christian doctors be denied a "conscience clause" exemption so they can opt out of performing abortions?




Ronald Reagan warned us of an over reaching intrusive government that smiles and says, I am from the government and I am here to help. It usually means the loss of your privacy, liberty and a very expensive price tag that will hurt the economy. We get all that under Obama-care, as well as the furthering of the anti-Christian culture of death.
