You are right, To get a noticeably better picture you need to get the Sony EX-1. The picture quality on that camera is very high end. Awesome picture. Unfortunately the price is very high on that camera.

aha..was wondering why i can't find the 'big' difference between that and my Sony tvr-270e...
i've seen a HD tape of the hdr-fx7 meanwhile and personally i think it's not worth the 6500 € difference, even though the quality is top.. ;)
i'd rather wait another 5 yrs till it's affordable hehe

It was the digitization we used last year or so when things in the youtube/ vegas codecs did not do was well as they do now. The DVD is much clearer. The 2 dvd set comes with a money back guarantee.
