"Oh, You Sweet One" (The Schnitzelbank Song) was written by Moe Jaffe and Richard Hardt (Paul Kapp) in 1949 and was also recorded by the Ames Brothers, among others.

@MrClassicDoctorWho Must look into getting one of those. EMI records used to advertise one called EMITEX, or something like that, on the inner sleeves of LPs. I bought Woolworths' version, but wasn't impressed (this was in the 80's) - it just left yellow fluff on the records!

Sounds good for its age - not many noticeable crackles, etc.

@outofthegreenmist Yea. the condition is actually amazing! Its a shame my camera cant pick up great sound, but you really cant see anything on the record and it has still kept its shine. I uploaded it because i could not find it on youtube so i thought people might want to hear it?

@MrClassicDoctorWho Some of those old bakelite records have lasted longer than the flimsier records that came out in the 70's and 80's. They seemed to generate less static and, therefore, attract less dust. I know you were supposed to clean them, and I did, but sometimes you just ended up pushing the dust into the grooves.

@outofthegreenmist thats very true. I always use an anti static duster that literally GRABS every piece of dust. They even polish the records at the same time. I might make another channel for my 78rpm records so if i do ill give you a link.
