@mittdawson And to think, when this came out (ovanight on Channel 7 in Chicago and even on USA) I had a Beta VCR. Nice clip nonetheless.

To me, $ale of The Century was... THE quintessential '80s game show, simply for the fact that it captured EVERY aspect of the decade. The show was constantly brimming with glitz, glamor, decadence, and most of all... an ever-present aura of greed. Perfect! $ale was a winner in every regard; Temptation, on the other hand... lol. ;-)

thanks, it does look pretty good for a VHS transfer, the codecs have gotten much better.
