Harvest -Poppy Somniferums pt I-Papaver Somniferum -Opium Poppy Harvest

gathering seeds for next year ...and milking-we enjoy these plants for their beauty and painkilling properties {know to man for millenia } ,- Bonnie makes compresses from the pods which are excellent for muscle/nerve pain ,or making tea for insomnia /sleeping problems-the seeds can be baked in/on bread ,the paste i,m extracting is excellent for toothache and painfull cuts/wounds .I would much prefer to utilise the qualities of nature than pay Big pharma ,[who normally use this plant in some shape or form anyway ,in pain relief products ] than use Paracetamol/Tylanol which either have some side effect or another . this gift of nature is not to be underestimated regarding its strength and should be used with care .for differnt varietys milk see pt II

@weedyak i would nt know where to start doing that & even if i did ..thats sounds like a Bad idea to me [try to stay away from that stuff ]..,anyway we enjoy these flowers for their beauty and the gift that lies within them ...fine to make tea for insomnia...and Bonnie makes compresses , and the paste is excellent for toothache ..or other painfull cuts ...i would much prefer to utilise this than Paracetamol/tylanol or other big Pharm products that usually use this plant in some shape or form.

@cujo503 don't mess with this stuff. There is no casual use to opium / heroin. IT's the most addictive drug going and has killed millions and started wars. It has its uses and many are good... just walk away from it.

me and my friend are thinking of doing opium but we do drugs for spiritual purposes and dont abuse. but theres no where that ik of where i can find it.

@juniortore1 i/we,ve chosen the natural remedies from these plants for years and till now havent suffered any ill effects ...but as i say in the dropdown box ,these plants and their gift is NOT to be underestimated for their strength ,however i havent used a paracetamol /tylanol /painkiller in years ,if one respects the plants they in turn will reciprocate with no ill side effects .
