I like the comments about not using double bass pedals!!!! For everyones info Nicko Mcbrain only uses a single pedal!!!!! He can play 16ths with one foot a very difficult thing to do!!!!! This guy is also doing it if you listen!! search youtube for The Wickerman- Nicko Mcbrain drummer cam!!!

You spent the crispiness of the bass doubles on the whole track.You spent the crispiness of your very nice sounding toms on the whole track.If you have a 15 piece doesnt mean that you have to use the whole thing on every song.That destroys the magic.Simplicity fits best.
