can you spell your name on the fretboard?

@Moshgfx Hmm. Good question. It responds to Midi signals so it's at least possible.

@Meatalhalic It varies based on the model you get. Pop over to their web site and check them all out! They have a great line. It can really get you further, faster.

Im thinking about getting this guitar to help with being more fluid with different scale shapes and what not, and I was wondering, does playing this guitar create bad habits and dependability on the lights?

@imthunderstruck I think it actually creates good habits in the it trains your fingers on the shapes that connect all the scales. Once you have the "muscle memory", you can turn off the lights and not miss them at all. It's just a tool to speed up learning :)

Thanks for the video todd, excellent!
If you have a Fretlight with Windows, you can get scales with blinking root notes by going into the Improvisor. Go to "Select a Song", then choose Basic Scales. On the Improvisor there is a button on the right to choose whether to blink root notes or not. Have Fun!
Great learning system!
