Led Zeppelin in Vancouver at the coliseum at the PNE on March 19, 1975. Out of the previous 5 performances at the PNE Colliseum this is the best by far, it is complete, the sound quality rocks and as far as how Led Zeppelin played here they couldn't have much more fun than how much ass they kick. Possibly the best show of the 1975 tour. Instead of San Francisco, they play a song called Woodstock instead.

  • They are singing Woodstock by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in that part, if you listen to the bootleg from March of '75 in Seattle you will hear Robert Plant sing more lyrics from that song... on their '73 tour of America Robert would sing Going to San Francisco in that part of Dazed and Confused.

[] I hear "we are stardust...we are golden"...reference to some lyrics by Joni Mitchell sung by CSNY at Woodstock []

Well, yes and no. The lyrics you hear ARE from a song called "Woodstock" written by Joni Mitchell for her Ladies of the Canyon album. CSNY did a harder rock cover of it for their album De Ja Vu and Matthew Southern Comfort did a soft rock cover of it for their album Later That Year. All of those albums came out in 1970. CSNY DIDNT sing this at the festival though.

  • Is the whole concert downloadable anywhere on the net?

  • @mapscannotcontainme " I've get to get my soul above the nation." interesting ... sounds almost mystically profound (to get your spiritual connection above the concept of human territorial limitations of the ego).

I here "we are star-dust ... we are golden" at 1:24 ... reference to some lyrics by Joni Mitchell sung by Crosby, Sills, Nash, Young at Woodstock ...

"We are stardust, we are golden, We are billion year old carbon, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden"

  • Plant sounds like he mixes the verses together. It sounds like he says "I've get to get my soul above the nation."

  • Thanks very much for uploading this great concert! Excellent quality! I was too young for this tour and it sounds like they had so much fun... I would easily add several years to myself if I could've seen them on their '75 tour... Zep is about the *only* reason I'd ever want to be older! lol :D
