Yeah, "Plant Parenthood" is evil and kills babies? Planned Parenthood's mission is to prevent teen pregnancy but with ignorant jerks running around preaching abstinence and disregarding contraception of course unwanted pregnancies are going to occur. If you want to stop abortions, education is the answer. FACT: ABORTIONS ARE LEGAL IN THE UNITED STATES AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE

This has turned into a bunch of rambles... but my main point is, I believe, and only believe if the child is 'destined' to be thrown into a terrible life by their parents and everyone around them to continue to the chain of poor abused/poor children, then let them have an abortion. Before they even have to experience such suffering.

@HHH100 A lack of a belief in a deity does not equal a belief regarding the cause, nature, or purpose of the universe. Atheists may have all different kinds of beliefs regarding that. It just wouldn't include a belief in a deity.  I think you're confusing a theological position with a religion. And PP isn't an "atheist organization" just because they do not subscribe to one of your personal religious beliefs. Not all pro choice people are atheists.

@PenelopeBaden "Religion" is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe. If you believe there is NO god, that is a religion. It works both ways.

PP is atheist, because they believe murdering an infant that God created is OK because they think there is no God.

Nature fills all voids. There is no such thing as nothing. There is intelligence behind anything created. When man creates a new species or a new tree from basic elements, let me know.....

@HHH100 "These should not be funded, because it is religion based. Atheism is a religion." This is illogical on a few levels. 1) Atheism isn't a religion. Atheism is just a lack of a belief in God. That does not a religion make. 2) How is PP an atheist organization? Simply because they are a secular organization? If that's the case, then by your logic, nothing can be funded, religious or non-religious.

@HHH100 Also, you're using the term Eugenics incorrectly. Eugenics is the "applied science or the bio-social movement which advocates the use of practices aimed at improving the genetic composition of a population." People don't have abortions to "improve the genetic composition of a population."

@HHH100 Most children around the world who are unwanted by their parents are not adopted. And if your child is not white, or at risk for being born with a health problem, then their chances of being adopted are significantly lower. It's dishonest to insinuate that adoption is an option for every child. It clearly isn't.

@PenelopeBaden And don't forget, there are plenty of couples looking to adopt children. It is very simple NOT to get pregnant. You just need a brain. Eugenics is not necessary. It just turns into genocide when a dictatorship decides certain people should be exterminated. Ask any jewish survivor of 1938 Germany.

The problem is government is deciding how to spend OTHER peoples money. This is not the way America was founded. In the end, people will consider government their god. That is when the country collapses. If one does not work, one should not eat. Giving handouts is not compassion, it creates poverty. Look around the world.
