Perhaps in retrospect, you are right, that Charlie on Palin wasn't the problem, it was the lack of the MSM on Obama that was the problem. The press has only one critical function- to be tough as nails on ALL OF THE CANDIDATES. Who cares if Palin (VP) can or cannot articulate the "Bush Doctrine" when Obama (POTUS) lied to us about pulling out of our current wars but instead threw us into yet another conflict.

Not sure what your point is, but FOX News is obsessed with making money. Best way to make money in broadcast news is scooping new stories, intelligent debate, attractive and articulate anchors, but in the long run, reporting the news with balance. If Fox is still around a few years from now, it will attest to the last point; if it's audience shrinks, it will be either because it failed or other news networks figured the formula.

Everyone knows that the Bush docterine is something along the lines of millitary or pre-planned force to prevent possible attacks. It''s fairly broad to be truthful Bill. Atleast you could pull a precise and logical definition straight out of thin air and we all know your not the brightest crayon in the box.
