maybe fence it in if its going to be powerful. u use a fence to keep people out of a transformer on a powergrid.

this is one of my favorite methods but im thinking about safety.. if something happens and the lens gets moved or falls, or a piece of trash flies into the focal point, - instant fire. i cant (yet) find a way to make this really safe. i know i personally wouldnt feel safe leaving a fresnel lens unattended for even a minute..

You should show a working model, rather than some drawings I should pay 8000 dollars for. The Link on the website is absolute BS as well and shows nothing that has to do with Fresnel lensen.
