Fatema el Zahraa' Women's Cooperative

Ajloun is a district in northern Jordan. A large part of the population of the area is educated. Even so, there are very few job opportunities in Ajloun, especially for women.
Fatmeh El Zahraa is a womens cooperative in Ajloun that works to empower women and make them active members of their community through a range of projects and activities.
By providing opportunities for women to earn money, the center helps women contribute to the financial support of their families.
Fatmeh El Zahraa was founded in 1990 and has 80 women members.
