Video card problem and solution

I had a problem with my Radeon HD 4870, it kept freezing my whole system while gaming, so I got a new one. Little did I know it would be a completely different card design. However, this turned out to be a good thing. This new one has 2 fans and runs ALOT quieter and cooler. Thanks for watching and please subscribe, rate and comment. More videos coming soon!

RAM - G.SKILL 4BG (4 x 1GB) 240 pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual channel

Hard Drive - HITACHI Deskstar 320GB 7200 RPM Sata

Operating system - Microsoft Windows Vista home basic 64-bit :(

Hey there, I had the same original card you had and what sounds like the same problem you described. Did you ever find a fix for it or am I better off buying another card?

I exchanged it for a new card, updated the drivers, and now i havent had a problem. Hope this helps :)

I got one of the most annoying computer problems ever :|

This problem usually comes when you reinstalled windows, but I got it outta nowhere ..

Its probably a driver issue so you might want to try and uninstall all the video card drivers you have and then re-install the one for your card. If that doesnt help let me know

i have a asus hd4870 and he freez in games and some times in windows.

It wasnt a card problem i have recently found out that its just a graphics driver error with some custom built PC's. The driver atikmdag.sys fails all the time and if you search it on google a lot of people have had the same problem and ATI really doesnt have a solution so that sucks. Recently it hasnt done it at all though and i havent changed anything so i dont know but its working fine for me now

i hav a problem....i had warcraft 3 on my computer on xp...worked well though i did not hav a graphic card...but now i hav installed sme new xp version and my game does not work...it says u hav a directx error...can some1 help me!!!!
