The 125th Anniversary Commemoration of the Bay View Tragedy of May 6, 1886, features a re-enactment of the killing of seven who marched in an 8-hour-day rally, including larger-than-life puppets and the words of those from 1886. Held May 1, 2011 by the Wisconsin Labor History Society at the Bay View Rolling Mills Historical Marker site on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee WI.
We are told that history repeats itself. Let's hope that Gov. Walker will never stoop to the level of Gov. Rusk.
