Adam was truly a Bodhisattva. The way he lived and died, with such peace and dignity, and helping countless Tibetans. He blessed so many people, including me, AFTER he died. I am a student of the Karmapa and Tsoknyi Rinpoche, and believe me, Adam was the real deal, a saintly being. The music was cool, but his life meant so much more.

Dwelling on Yauch's lack of robes, unshaven head, what rituals he practiced or vows he took displays little understanding of the point of Buddhism and enlightenment. That attitude directly contradicts the dharma. You need no certain robes, haircut or vows to achieve Buddha hood. Yauch helps alleviate the suffering of millions of sentient beings (like myself) and his MC Rhyme Sutras will continue to help souls navigate the cycle of existence.
