A Tribute to Terry Crawford (aka Beth Chavez on Dark Shadows)

This is the latest video in my series of Dark Shadows actor & and actress tributes. This time it is the lovely and talented, Terrayne (Terry) Crawford, who portrayed Beth Chavez (and her ghost) on the Gothic soap opera. I've used most of these photos in my other DS videos..but decided to group them here in as tribute to this amazing actress. I hope you enjoy this...please rate and comment if you do! Ter-rayne-ific! This actress, without provocation, came up and gave me a big hug. At first, I didn't know who she was: she had her hair down to her shoulders and it didn't dawn on me that she could possibly be Beth. Beth always seemed so sad and lost; this woman was happy. She was kind to everyone at the convention I so long ago attended.  I am glad that she still does them because everyone should get a big old hug from her! Beautiful illustration and music evoking 1897.

When Marion was based in NYC in the 60s/70s she and Juliet Taylor used to cast many of the regulars: Kathryn Leigh Scott, Lara, Nancy B, David Selby. Did she happen to cast you too? Beth Chavez, played by Terry Crawford, seemed like such a sad character. Great job Baron!
