@jamezdd73 Actually, the Yellow Magic Orchestra version of this song, was almost instrumental, except for the chorus. When MJ heard the song, he wrote the verses and also rewrote the chorus which are used in this version and in the Greg Phillinganes' one, therefore, MJ wrote the lyrics of this song.
