  • I really don't know why people always think in KF the couch gun's sawwed off,it does have a barrel but couch guns do have a stock, but its shorter for a decent spread.

Maybe its because people always think "sawed off" when they see a double barrel.

  • It's hard to tell. I have a side-by-side Stevens that I trimmed. Cut the barrels down from 28" to 18.5" and sanded the muzzles with a disk sander, leaving the barrels 18.25" (still legal). Still want to drill and tap a bead onto the rib. Plenty of coach guns are made with 20" barrels, so the coach gun in KF was most likely made that way. I'd much rather have a Benelli M3 Super 90. All the KF shotguns throw horrible patterns that are waaay to0 lo0se.

  • killing floor is so beast!!

  • It's still not as fun as STALKER. If only STALKER had anatomical battle damage.

  • Thanks! I figured you were the one to ask ;)

  • M-1 Carbine with the stock cut off and replaced with a walking stick. No magazines. Rounds were single-loaded into the chamber.

  • What was that Staff-gun that he used when he was with the cave people?

  • True, but from the reload the Super 90 in ObLost looks like it's 10-12 inches tops. I can see the reasoning behind the top-folder version of the M3, but I think that having such a short barrel severely limits the capability of any tube fed shogun. Why not take advantage of a shortened, magazine-fed Saiga? You'd have the rapid reloads and high capacity of a breaching/CQB shotgun (and light weight). Reloading every four seconds doesn't seem like such a good idea in a gun fight.

  • Note: Mad Max used a sawed-off hammerless boxlock in the first two Mad Max films. He had a sawed-off rabbit-ear sidelock in Beyond Thunderdome (but only fired it once).

  • Hammerless double shotguns have firing pins that are charged when the shotgun is broken open for loading. The Benelli in ObLost isn't sawed-off. It's short-barrel. And you're correct that it would hold 3+1 Magnum shells (4+1 standard) with a 12.5" barrel. There IS an entry gun version of the M3 Super 90 with a 14" barrel. Standard capacity is 5+1 (4+1 Magnum). Entry guns have stocks.
