MAX & BENI (+ Squatters) - El cor de la ciutat, ep. 1593

SCENE 1 (Squatters & Beni): Max, Iago, K, Pacho and Sandra are having breakfast. They're talking about Eli: how she has left Can Sarró and nobody knows exactly why (she'd told them she wanted to see her brother, Ros). Beni arrives and asks Pacho for his guitar. Inspite of the generous amount Beni offers, Pacho doesn't want to return it to him. Beni asks Max's help but he will have none of it.

SCENE 2 (Max & Beni): Max apologizes to Beni for not being at his father's side at breakfast; however, he reminds to Beni he's one of the owners of Can Sarró. Max tells him he should start thinking about what had happened that morning: surely the Beni of the earlier days would have given away his guitar to Pacho instead of selling it to him.

SCENE 3 (Beni & Kiko in the Night Club): Beni commiserates to his friend Kiko he finds himself revolting and he plans to change completely, to become once again "the Beni of the earlier days".

ESCENA 1 (Okupas & Beni): Max, Iago, K, Pacho y Sandra están desayunando y comentando el extraño comportamiento de Eli en los últimos días: se ha marchado de Can Sarró y nadie acierta a saber por qué aunque les dijera que se iba para ver a su hermano Ros. Llega Beni y le pide a Pacho su antigua guitarra. A pesar de que le ofrece cada vez más dinero, Pacho se niega a devolvérsela. Beni le pide entonces ayuda a Max pero no recibe ninguna.

ESCENA 2 (Max & Beni): Max se disculpa por su comportamiento para con Beni en el desayuno. Beni, sin embargo, no cree que su hijo esté realmente dolido. Max le recuerda que es uno de los propietarios de Can Sarró y le dice algo que a Beni le llega muy adentro y le hace reflexionar de verdad: el Beni de antes le habría regalado la guitarra a Pacho en lugar de vendérsela.

ESCENA 3 (Beni & Kiko): Beni le comenta a Kiko que siente asco de sí mismo y quiere cambiar por completo, volver a ser el Beni 'de antes'.

I agree with you, bernatfan1. I can ASSURE you bread with spread tomato, cheese and/or 'chorizo' (a kind of spiced sausage) is DELICIOUS. ;o))

El Cor de la Table! Always eating, eating! It increases as every week passses. Maybe they aren't paid but given free meals. Working for peanuts! Max's acting today is really good as he even manages to look embarassed and uncomfortable at Beni's intrusion into Can Sarró.

I may have been the one who started this thread of commenting on Max's cuteness while eating. The first comment I ever posted on YouTube was on maxenricfan's upload of episode 1484 on Dec. 5. This is the ep. where Beni is with the giant dog Cookie, and Eli stands up to the mean woman. Max is sitting next to Beni biting into some food and chewing. It was soooo cute, that it compelled me to make my first comment. Adorable then. Adorable still.
