A Ray Griff composition. 1970

ARMS OF YOUR LOVE
(Ray Griff)

It didn't take you very long to get to me
You must have seen me sittin' on the shelf
You reached for me and touched me oh so tenderly
Then you took me down and kept me for yourself

Now I'm all wrapped up in the arms of your love sweet love
All wrapped up in the arms of your love sweet love
To know the thrill of your embrace is everything that I ever dreamed heaven was
I'm all wrapped in the arms of your love

I'm all wrapped (all wrapped up) in the arms of your love sweet love
All wrapped up (all wrapped up) in the arms of your love sweet love
To know the thrill of your embrace is everything that I ever dreamed heaven was
Yes I'm all wrapped (all wrapped up) in the arms of your love
(Arms of your love)

  • hav'nt heard this song since 1983...what a great thrill it was to find it here....thank you

  • I must echo the sentiments of another reviewer. This song is short and sweet and filled with pathos. I, too, find myself singing it so often and it brings that sweet sadness. I, too, see it both in a secular and a religious way so I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone else felt the same way too....

  • grew up with Skeeter's music...still love it

  • Love her voice! talented country singer.

  • This song is short, simple and very sweet; o how I love it. I can't stop singing it. It's so full of pathos. It can be seen in a religious light or as a secular song to a lover.....either will do.

  • Her voice was sweet

  • THANK YOU FOR SHARING.

  • I can't help but wonder if this WONDERFUL WOMAN is magic. Her voice is sooo BEAUTIFUL I can listen to her sing endlessly!

  • Can't believe there are so many Skeeter songs I hadn't heard! Simply magic! Sing on in Heaven little lady!!
