Nathan who is autistic loves trains, like the Kerr Stuart.

This is our son Nathan who is Autistic and likes trains. Nathan loves all sorts of trains but especially loves steam engines because of his hero Thomas 'The Tank engine'. Kerr Stuart is a restored steam engine. We try to take Nathan and his younger sister Sophia on as many train rides as we can. This is a fun and enjoyable time for us as a family and is great therapy for Nathan. On the first Sunday of every month Kerr Stuart operates out of Red Cliffs, which is situated just out of Mildura, Victoria (far North, West Victoria). This is approximately 10 minute footage (one way) of a 20-25 minute ride.

Kerr Stuart operates the 1st Sunday of every month except under days of extreme high fire danger.

Wow, I'm autistic and like trains too! I can soo see myself in this back when I was a kid, it's to my mothers eternal grief I got into trains. XD

Good to see you're feeding his interests, taking your son on events like this is just great and gives inspiration. Maybe he'll grow to work on the railroad some day.
