I remember in Spanish class 9th grade we were learning about entertainment and comedians was part of the unit. The teacher went around asking everyone in Spanish who their favorite comedian was. I remember yelling "SANDRA BERNHARD!" My Spanish teachers smile faded into a disgusted sneer and she scanned the room briefly, before finding the next person to ask. She was a thin-lipped bitch.

I don't think she's ugly or anything, but this ad (and her lips) don't exactly give me a desire to buy MAC lipgloss. In fact, this type of ad (and the zooming in on her mouth at awkward moments mid-speech) makes me NOT want to buy MAC products. I'll freely admit I don't have amazing lips. But I don't look at this ad and say "wow! I want lips like that!"
