The Bacon and Eggs meal was delicious! I scarfed it down and it was a good amount of food, too.

Check out their website: www.mountainhouse.com

There is a ton of information out there on various options for emergency food, canned, dehydrated, freeze dried, it's all about finding what will work for you. You make hate freeze dried. I dig it. Believe it or not, the food tastes pretty darn good and it can even seem fresh. Better than all of this, learn to be self-sustaining and self-reliant with by growing, preserving and preparing things yourself.

Well until we can get to that stage, this stuff rocks.

  • Now I will buy the bacon and eggs Mountain House - it looks so yummy. I wasn't going to originally - I have purchased only dinner-type meals, but you have changed my mind. Gotta have breakfast food too! I like salsa on mine - Thanks enjoyed the video a lot!

  • @pspcraft Salsa, yes of course! I must not have had any in the fridge. ;-) Glad I could help, I forget if I mentioned in this video, I really did not like the scrambled eggs and ham meal.. so definitely try them all first!

  • pfff...6 bucks for a little plate of eggs..screw that

  • @thatbme35 Thanks - I'll look for it!

  • @pspcraft they got a southwestarn egg and ham a new sale for lrp/cw

  • The nutritional facts are reflecting what the product is. You are eating eggs, hence the high cholesterol levels lol. Freeze Drying is one of the best ways to process foods without affecting it's nutritional content.

  • I would've put on a LOT more Tabasco though.

  • Herb Phillipson's has these. lots of them. There really good surprisingly. I have them for lunch at school if I have nothing else and i know I won't eat till the next day
