DUDE! i had this same convo with my brother. I'm a black man and I have two friends around the same age as me and we lived in a predominately white community and some things have gone down and they've witnessed it. I tried to talk to them about it and all they want to talk about is girls, or UFC or video games and don't get me wrong i love me some video games but I want to talk about issues that are concerning us as men, as black men as american men but nope they have nothing to offer me.

I agree you are incredibly arrogant and condescending. If you're like that around your friends then, well, they're probably don't like you that much. Sort it out for your own benefit.
Also, I agree with you that people get so obsessed with material things, but talking to friends about experiences they had or films they watched etc is not a bad thing. People get so obsessed with money, material, POLITICS!, and forget what is really really important, Happiness.

@WereGlidingWithStyle I admit, I used to be arrogant and condescending. This video was posted a little over a year ago, and I can say that I am hardly that way at all anymore. However, I still agree with the message that I gave out at the time, even if I have trouble following its advice sometimes.
