Trippy! This is an animation of a complex phenomena known as fractals. It consists of many layers and it utilizes a lighting system that gives the unique fractal a 3d effect. Watch the fractal unfurl in front of your very eyes, with an awesome pastel neon colour base set against a deep dark background.
What is a fractal anyway? Well as you asked I will give you a brief run down. The boundary of a fractal is infinite. Meaning that when you magnify it, the edge of the boundary eventually becomes infinity more complex. Buried within the fractal are an infinite amount of smaller parts that are self similar to the original. In a nutshell, these fractals are created using mathematical formulas of complex numbers.
