@Quagmire97 In Keys probably. However, i dont suppose apple "invented" chicklet keys. BUT "in multi-touch trackpad & design?" Are you blind? DO you see a apple logo in the front of the envy 14? Do you see lazer edge design on the macs? Whats with the world today, every pcs that are non-macs branded are known as "copies". Must as well say apple "copied' the invention of laptops.

@TERMINAT0R150 I dont see how the slimfit battery borrows the looks from apple. I dont see how the touch pad "borrows" from apple. I suppose i can say that with any degree of honesty what HP is doing is different from what Apple does in terms of being original. How bout saying apple "borrowed" the idea of have a laptop to be rectangular in shape...

@TERMINAT0R150 The hp envy is lazer edged, the Mac isnt. The hp envy have a slightly curvier sides, the Macs are have more fixed sides. The Hp envy has a logo on its bottom left, the Mac has it in the middle. The hp envy has a different colour tone as compared to the Macs...

Borrowed the entire look? its just like saying every car on earth is copying one another.

@Hcoswimmer22 Hp envy is NEW and AMAZING already. And what is apple doing right in? Its PC-BASED. Does ur macbook have a better gpu? does it have offer 3D? Which is the amazing one now?

HP ENVY 17, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-580M Dual Core Processor (2.66GHz, 3MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.33GHz. You said to show you and i just did. For an core I7, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-840QM Quad Core processor (1.86GHz, 8MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz... Do take note that it is a 8MB l3 Cache as compared to the Macbookpro 17 4MB L3 cache.

and btw Hp envy does 3D...

@EBTerriers show me that hp envy with 2.66 to 3.2 i just went on their site and saw a 2.8 with turbo boost, and i also saw a 14 with a 2.4 ghz core 2 duo
