@unionrdr No, all 908s are 8 cyl. There was no 4.5 litre v8. It's a specifically made engine - base of all 908 models. It's not like the early 8 cyl F1 engine either.

If it's the 3.0L boxer,it's a flat apposed 6. The 8's were 4-5 liter as I remember from those days. But...oh my sweet Lord! What a beautiful sound!!! Porsche,there is no substitute! Thanx for a great vid!

The audio was loud when recorded, most of us are in an office environment. Last thing we want is a 908 screaming out of our cubicle. You can adjust the volume to your location. : )
