Actually, most of Saab's designs are always heavy embellished embroidered organza (that you can see through)... but I always thought that he used nude color lining... and it never took away from his work.. they were always sexy and classy..

I get what you're saying, but I personally don't think he needs to line them. Yeah the clothes are sheer, but i think he was going for this sort of sexy-yet-classy kind of style, and I think that would have been lost had he lined them. I don't know, i guess it comes down to personal taste, but i like the gowns the way they are.

But this guy is perhaps the best evening gown designer today (along with Oscar de la Renta)

great designs, but I noticed that some of those gowns are not lined and those girls aren't wearing under-garments. I've never know Saab to do that.  Personally, I don't like it and it kinda cheapens his exquisite work.
