Our 7 year old Mozart decides to take a moment out of our touring Lisbon & draws from life ...the famous Torre de Belem! ( Unesco World Heritage Site). She loves to draw and is quite prolific and fast.

We love using art as part of our homeschool education as we travel. Kids learn a lot about what they draw.

"Actually, I will color it the colors I want, that way it is colorful!"

JOIN US! We are on an open ended world tour as a family ( since 2006) & you can see and read more about our travels here on youtube & also on our blog or on Twitter.

  • I think she's going to be an artist, besides the fact she plays 2 instruments, I really believe she will be a successful writer considering all her experiences =)

I will definitely buy her book !!

  • Who knows, she does have lots of talent and heart so I think she will do well at what ever she chooses.

She actually did a whole series of books as we traveled this year that we plan to put up, my arm just slows everything.

  • oh i love the ending in this video, mozart is so adorable.

I can't wait until she grows up either, shes going to turn out an amazing young lady

  • AwwThanks Tabachoy89! Of course that is what we hope for as every parent does. We will see. ;) She has a happy & giving nature & tons of energy & creativity so that should get her far. ;)

can't wait for her to be older and be a philanthropist like me :) so we can all, together, make great things in the world :)

    she's like a "prophet" of happiness :) :) :) :)

  • Aw, thanks so much nicoo2k for your kind words & enthusiasm for what we do. It's so nice to hear as it's not always easy to document our travels & homeschool as we go.

She is indeed a very happy child who lives a blessed life and I do hope she will be a philanthropist too! She does love people and makes friends where ever she goes. I am grateful that she gets to see so much of the world & gets to see the beauty of this earth & it's wonderful people!

  • Thanks movebyleap! Torre de Belem ( a Unesco world heritage site) is quite beautiful and we really loved this area of Lisbon.

There really is so much to see in Portugal and Spain, so I truly understand. Spain is a lot bigger than most people realize. You will love Portugal too! We were lucky to be in Belem on Portuguese Day which was very festive and we joined in. Fun music & dancing.

  • Thanks kaitfaery! She really loves art & is always making something. ;)

  • Hey! Wow -she's good!! Your little girl is growing up so fast!! Torre de Belem is one building I'd love to see. We spent an entire summer in Spain back in 2007. We did a little detour to Portugal, but found that there was so much to see and do in Spain that Portugal would have to wait for another holiday!!

  • Great artistic skills!
