Time to Change TV ad to be aired in January and February in England. The advert explains how the affects of stigma and discrimination can impact on a person who is or has experienced mental health problems

People treat mental illness as something you can cope by yourself.
The only way I can cope with it is staying in doors all day (work nights) and only going to the suermarket in the evening.
Even walking down the shops is overwhelming enough, sensitive to noise, paranoid of people, and just full of anger.
