  • which guitar did u use for this song? this is awesome btw!!

  • it's my old martin om 35 played with a few amplification (with chorus, reverb and delay)..i kept the 'wet' sound very low

  • very nice man

  • thanks a lot

  • very nice guitar effects. Have you ever tried playing this with no capo at all?

  • i've used my guitar into a line 6 multi effects (delay and chorus) but i kept the volume very low, so the main sound comes from the guitar. i've used the capo at 2nd fret because i think otherwise the general mood becomes too 'dark'

  • I love this tune- I play Southwind on the harp :)

  • Great work man, can you send me the tabs please?

  • Oh, I love this celtic tune... and you play so beautiful and heart warming on a cold winter day!...must be to my favourites.

  • Very nice. Would you mind sending me the tab for the song, I'd really appreciate it.

  • seen a lot of requests for this tab! if you would like it please leave a comment on my channel or one of my guitar covers and will send you a copy of them!!

  • A grand version indeed ! It's an ancient tune composed by a musician named McNamara from County Mayo. It was said to have been taken up by the Fiddle players of West Clare, when they heard the souls of The Wild Geese (exiled leaders) singing it on a ghost ship returning their spirits to Ireland (1600's).

I used often play this with my old friend piper Ronan Browne. You do a lovely, sensitive version - Thank You.

  • where can i find the tab/sheet music for this song?

  • lovely performance!

  • Excellent!
