I did put a piece at the end. I pretty much love this guitar. Not as much as my Martin Cut-out with pick-up, but still very much. I don't know why, but the sound of acoustics work way better for me than electrics. I do have my Fender Mexican Strat that I enjoy, but it is nowhere near as pleasing as these two.

No, it is not yet my birthday, but it is my present nonetheless. My birthday isn't until next month, along with graduation!!!

P.S. Yes...I did say "much more sturdier..." but w/e, its bothering me too :-P

  • Would you recommend this guitar overall? I'm going to go away to college and i want to pick up how to play guitar and this one seems like a good fit, what do u think?

  • @greenplan3 For someone just picking up the guitar this is a good fit. It doesn't tax the fingers and is fairly inexpensive. On top of that, should you stick with it, it will last a very long time. If you lose interest it will resale for much better than equivalent regulations sized guitars. Top that all with a good sound and the ability to add a pickup to make an amazing tone. I'm not saying this is THE guitar but for a beginner it is a great first choice.

  • i dont think this would feel right if i was playing it lol i must say i prefer my mexican strat to all my guitars aha and it has got some tought competition a gibson sg and an ibanez s series lol

  • I myself have a mexican strat and much love goes to it. However, I find myself more on the acoustic side of playing more often than not.

This instrument is certainly not for normal play. It for traveling, especially for backpacking. It is extremely sturdy and takes a beating. And, its nice in that the frets are spaced out instead of crunched as you would expect from the smaller instruments.
