@BadatStuff Actually they are not for the record Kobayashi has stated himself in twitters that this is so far a departure that fans might be turned away even he does not like it and he created the series. It is just too radical a reboot to say they are catering to fans when they are going in a different direction. Not to mention ninja theory's horrible track record for games it does not bode well. So I get why people are mad at it and ninja theory.

@MX3ish Yeah, you can still use all of your weapons (even the Force Edge before it becomes the Sparda sword). It's actually better to continue using Alastor and Ifrit since you can't devil trigger with the Sparda/Force Edge until the Mundus boss fight.

DMC 1 and 3 are the best games, but DMC 1 I give it the best because Dante faces his hardest challenges and you see him pushed to his limits, I wish they brought back Vergil and Mundus in DMC 4 instead of putting the plot into a whole different story....and the new DMC IDK what happened.

At the end of this video with that cutscene, it looks like now I know how Hercules felt about Meg when Hades blurted out that she is working for him all along.

@Shiek927 Looks more like DmC/DMC5 will be really action oriented like DMC3 and 4. Besides its all on what the fans think: Tons of people who know little of Dante's backstory keep complaining that "that isn't Dante" and since they're too lazy to research too in-depth Capcom and Ninja Theory are trying to make the game satisfy as many as they can
