why would they used power7 when powercell8i is out?
and xeon. with fermi gpu tottaly dominate any cpu. high flooting point operation

@henryhenriquez did u read what i wrote? i said back then i said the road runner was the fastest in 2007 now ibm is working on blue waters which uses POWER7 CPU's. plus in the road runner they used alot of cores but it was still a cell. and there u go again by comparing the ps3 to a pc. like honestly give it a rest we all know its better so stop comparing them.

@Reiterj3 and here is the thing. ibw roadrunner doesnt use the cell thats in the ps3. it uses a 8i variant. mutch better. then whats in the cell.
and even on luanch the ps3 was beaten by a pc.
ps3 uses pc hardware you know?
and the roadrunner is now very very behind. using pc cores xeon and opteron. fermi(all pc hardware)

@henryhenriquez well it was god like as u would say when it came out and ibm did make the road runner back in 2007 but that was back then and the pc keeps evolving pretty much every month while the ps3 barely changes at all, and i still dont see why you should compare them both.
