  • I think he has too many independent movements, as well. From the toes, through the legs, controlled by the waist and expressed through the fingers. The movements are strung together like pearls on a string. Independent movements are not taichi. But he looks good in other ways!

  • @david1234lee He belongs to the new styles of Tai Chi. The main goal is to win competition. So it is more like pretty gymnastic . The classical Tai Chi is base on the fundamentals of human mechanics. The moves perform as a solid whole so you could be ready for" push hands"-- the real combat practice of Tai Chi. Old schools are very critical of this; saying it never stand a chance under the push hand test.

  • Piękno absolutne !

  • お手本にして練習します。

  • Absolutely beautiful, flowing movements!! I wasn't aware that the24 forms could be executed in such a way. I'm a newbie (3wks) in Tai chi and although I've seen some other students flow thru the movements like swans, I'd never imagine it could be like this. Beautiful, that's all I can say. Can't comment on technical moves , etc. as I don't feel qualified.

  • @iluvtaiji i'm sorry that is actually a myth you have no idea what you are talking about. not extending the knee beyond the toes only apply to newbies who can't even bend over to touch their toes with their knees straight, it is used in group exercises as a general catch-all guideline to prevent injuries.

  • Liuvtaiji, if you are better, upload your video or go to learn in China the Jibengong....

  • @iluvtaiji, i don't see you being called prince of taichi, don't make comments about people being incorrect so easily. you can say it's different from what you're taught, but you obviously have no credibility to be saying someone's doing their things wrong.
