Just for the record, you people know morels generate from spores, as for morels to re-generate (pulling them versus cutting them off) it makes NO difference. I say this from many years of experience and by trial. My front yard has several old apple trees in it and there are usually several handfuls of little yellows that show up there each year. I tried the cutting off (doesn't work) , but the little darlings spread enough spores each year to give me several meals. Call me grateful.

"Why would you want to hunt something that's just sitting in the ground?"
What a dipshit.....

@milane4christ03 no because the left over stem rots and infects the mycelium
-
@milane4christ03 Mushrooms don't have roots, they have mycelia which is the main growth and the shrooms you pick are only fruiting bodies and spores will spread, so I can't see a difference between cutting and pulling them up.

this guy is a pro ripping them out of the ground DUMBASS
I'm sitting here in horror as you rip them from their roots! You're supposed to cut them at the bottom so that they'll come back.

never pull the roots...and use mesh bags to help spread the spoors...if you're gonna make an informational video, at least get it right
