FORGIVENESS PT.2-"LET GO & LET GOD MOVE"- 1 Sam 5
1)we must not seek vengeance in the face of adversary
2)pay attention to what God is doing & why He's doing it...we often pay attention to the how He's doing it when that's not the point... God is not looking for your criticism &approval in how He does the things He does.
3) looking at the bigger picture of what God is trying to do, aides in forgiveness. the texts stops talking about our protagonists Samuel & eli and derails to talk about Isreal & the stolen ark. Understand that sometimes certain trails & issues disrupt the flow of your life, because God is busy handling some business...we translate this into God forgetting us, punishing,etc when in fact God is placing you in exile from your friends & normalities because He's preparing your destiny. We find here that Samuel is called back in chapter 6 to claim his destiny... we need to forgive!!
