That post borders on Blasphemy. You can't criticise Beach Party Sufin' movies...It just ain't American, you commie rat. Yah, we knew but if you knew you were leaving for the Nam in two weeks Donna was the right stuff!

what's the magic which makes these 60' boys look so good compared to today's? easy and clean? not pumped, not tattooed, no savage?

@schultz970 Sadly Mary Hughes died a couple of years ago of cancer. I agree with you, Mary was ahead of her time. I don't understand why she wasn't given bigger parts in Hollywood, except that Guy Hemric (the songwriter for Bikini Beach) told me all she Mary wanted to do was get married.

What's up with the PeRvErT and the mOnKeY? Maybe it just doesn't work out of context...

The comic relief shots of the ape aren't working for me, folks. I'm not feeling that.

Donna Loren has such a strong voice. She was very well-known in the 60s, but I am surprised none of her records really sold enough to put her in the Top 10...

@schultz970 She was also married to Lee Michaels

Mary Hughes was gorgeous. (polka dot bikini) she was Jeff Becks girlfriend for awhile in the mid sixties and is mentioned in the Yardbirds song "Psycho Daisies." RIP Mary.

Miss Loren is a great singer & a knock-out in that 2 piece.

she is sooooo hot. i'd jump her bones anytime
Donna Loren always sparkles on
screen.I always thought her songs
were the best part of the Beach Party
movies.I love that Underground Garage
plays her songs now. :)
