I've worked at both Tim Horton's and Sobeys. Sobeys is WAY BETTER! Hours, Pay, and Working Conditions are a million times better! I got 2 backshifts (16 hours) / week at Tim Horton's making $8.70 / hour, wouldn't give me a raise. Then, to make it worse, the Manager forced me to go into work, or I would get fired. At Sobeys, start off with $9.65 / hour, and 20 hours / week (now I'm up to 35) making $9.90 (it sounds stupid, but I'm only 19, and I got shit to pay, XD) and Sobeys makes it easier! :)

Sobeys has too much power, they own everything and control everybody. if you try to open a small store sobeys will stop you just try getting a licence for one especially in capebreton, and all the sobeys are all politicians too yes they have power but its all secretive.
