sti are good but nowhere near the engineering capabilities of the germans. audi s4 is imo best saloon of all time i even prefer it to the bmw m3, im saving for an s4 at the moment, should be ale to afford an 01-03 plate soon.

Yeah I really love the interior of the STI, really high quality with heaps of luxury features. They really paid a lot of attention to detail to all of the non-performance aspects of that car.

Not that much you can contructively do to the V8's tbh. Mine's chipped (difference on the dyno, can't really tell through seat-of-the-pants though). Exhausts do bugger all except make more noise. I've got H&R suspension in mine now, and some semi-slicks for my track days.
