Australia 1st Girevoy Sport Team traveled to Las Vegas and competed at the WKC AKC Classic Championships on the 6th of November , 2010.

The pioneers of the sport in Australia Jad Marinovic and David Tabain were the first to represent Australia as part of a team. "Girevoy Sport Australia Association" is affiliated with the IUKL "International Union of Kettlebell Lifting" http://giri-iukl.com in Latvia
