Happy Birthday, Mom!

My mom's birthday is on New Year's Day. Hope everyone is enjoying 2010! (: My mom also likes purple, so I colored the cat purple. :P I used Photoshop CS4 (it's upgrade from CS3, since it won't run on Windows 7) and I'm so happy with my Christmas gifts.

Alright, lots of discovery on the pen toll, like how to FILL in something correctly (I knew about it, just didn't understand the concepts). I am getting better on shading, yes? No. D: But I'm practicing eyes, okay? You like my new style of eyes? c:

I love Windows 7, so much faster. :'D Meaning I can store more images and it runs faster like most professional graphic designers have (I need one too, you know, I had over 2,100 images floating on my old Vista, and had to get moved). Back to Photoshop! LOL.

Anyway, I decided to try out the convert tool that is included with the pen tool. c: It really works, meaning I can outline more things, keeps pace up. But slow and steady wins the race. Meaning, slow and steady artwork usually does good.
