Raise your hand if you would want this guy teaching your kids? By the way, teachers do pay their own pensions. This has been negotiated for years in Wisconsin. Not just the past 5 years. I'm talking 20 - 30 years.

Perhaps the teachers protesting is the best education they could give!!!!
Secondly - go spend a week in an urban High School and you would never blame the teachers again and you would want to double their salaries.
National and state testing and other bad policies make it nearly impossible to teach well. Students are allowed to be rude and disruptive and the teachers have little to no power to deal with these problems - who can teach effectively in that environment!?!

Doesn't he realize that the Wisconsin 14 'voted' by leaving town? This is time-honored political action, kind of like Walker giving a few days' notice before stripping citizens of bargaining rights.
