Jackie and her pals perform "The Trout" and rock the house with their powerful musical onslaught. Jacqueline Du Pre has earned her place with the rest of the legendary performers who even though they died, their legacy lives on. She was (and still is) The queen of the Elgar Concerto. She earned her place along with Richie Valens, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Stevie Ray Vaughn and others. She will never be forgotten.

  • Probably the 5 best musicians of the 20th century playing together, it is beautiful to see how they enjoy what they are doing. Such great talent, what a pity Jacqueline died so young! What a tragic loss for the world of classical music!

  • Just in case there are any newcomers/neophytes out there wondering who wrote this wonderful music: Franz Schubert (1797-1828)

  • Please forgive my spelling. ...Peace.

  • This is a magnificient treasure. A great (and) popular Masterpiece. To see Jacquline Dupre in magnificient form is unforgettable. Notice her expressions, i.e. at the 3 minute mark. Impossible to overlook the other legendary musicians on this video. This makes my day Thank you for posting. Rest in Piece, Jacqueline, You will never be forgotten.

  • Zukerman is a bit showing off. Never had a favior on him. Just don't like his style.

  • Thank you for posting this wonderful recording !
