  • is there a Hollywood in France? he must be from there=D Such a down to earth guy for such a wigged out brilliant musician. Total mcfly laugh=D .CHeck out his albums, Smash is Filthy.

  • He's right tho, I can imagine how shitty ppl feel after Justice remixes one of their tracks better than the original. Like, Oizo's Nazis or Dont let the man by Fatboy Slim. But, I suppose that's why its called a re-mix. But J.A.H.C.B did an amazing job on the D.A.N.C.E track. In fact, I think its better than the original = )

  • He's the messiah of electro!!!

  • @wellytopjohnny Source?

  • Anyone know if he (and maybe even his family) lived in America for awhile? His English is quite definitely American English, and his niece who narrates in "Oh Boy" speaks English like an American.

  • my new song "flowers" was really inspired from jackson, cehck it out n see if you like it :]

  • They both use similar sequencing/sampling techniques and sample from various works in each of their tracks. You could say Akufen is a feat in sample production, as it pretty much flaunts it, but I think it is much more disconnected in process.

  • @CameronBrk btw Daft Punk's new album which is the soundtrack for tron is out in december, sebastian's album will be released in a few months and justice have been working on the new album for years now. they will have alot more new releases sooner than JAHCB...

  • @CameronBrk im a huge fan of smash but firstly it is not a huge feat in sampled production there have been earlier albums e.g. akufen's 'My Way' which have done basically the same thing. the thing about justice is that the way they brought more distorted leads with disco samples was very new at the time. daft punk brought in filtered house which was also very different at the time, sebastian also very innovative and the way he dealt with microsamples. this is why smash wasnt a well recieved

  • SMASH is a huge feat in sampled production and an amazing work of art. Similar to Justice, Daft Punk, SebastiAn and others but much more creative, innovative and adventurous. Haha funny thing, is all those artists are french and haven't or won't release a new lp for another half decade.

  • @SongOfTheLastCamel

    agreed !

my top one is by far "utopia", ! the basses are unpredictable during the whole track, and that's why i love not getting bored of it even if i listen to it almost everyday ! by the way, i think "hard tits" is a great title... a really sensual song!
