@forsurenoob Nobody abandoned anything,Jews were expelled by the Roman Empire.And Arabs don't have an empire ;)

@forsurenoob They didn't abandon it, they were driven out by the Romans after unsuccessfully rising up against Roman occupation. They never wanted to leave, they were forced out.

Still doesn't justify the Jews coming around after 2 thousand years of inhabiting the land and proclaiming it as 'theirs'. If you abandoned something, for 2 thousand freaking years, it's not yours anymore. Find another place to make a country rather than in the middle of the "Arab empire", so to speak.

@whipasnaper Those two situations are incomparible. The state of Israel was made after a time of widespread public hatred and persecution of the Jews after which they either had no homes anymore because they had been burnt down, or didnt want to go and live next to the same families who had hounded them out of their homes years earlier. The Jews had no state to live in and in the land won by England in the First World War by conquering the Turks, they made this state for jews to go. Fair?
