great insight to Kyoto wood craft arts! i like this video !!! it reminds me of visiting Kyoto last year, its so beautiful there.. thankyou for posting and good luk/gambaru. i also carve wood- made a totem pole 25ft tall with a chainsaw some years ago ..

Sorry, yeah, it does cut off suddenly. This is about 1/3 of the usable material, but I want to cut the whole thing down to about 4 minutes while adding in some sit-down interview (as this was originally supposed to be, but he wanted to keep working), as well as a look around his backshop.
