Atilla was the session vocalist for De Mysteriis Dom. Sathanas. He rejoined the band after Maniac's departure in 2004.

I'm sorry, but I just saw Mayhem live, with Atilla obviously, and Atilla was fucking AMAZING! He's purely one of my favorite vocalists. Dead spawned a whole new era, but in singing, you can see some Dead in Atilla. But shit, Atilla does some vocal stuff that I've never seen any other vocalists do. From this droning really low ass grunt to the most mother fucking eerie high pitched whine ever.

I have to go with Maniac.. His high-pitch just suits my ears the best - Attila on the other hand, but not as in the version displayed here.. Dead was never my favorited.. Neither as a guitar player in the band.. Blasphemer on guitar for that matter - sadly, he has also quit the band..

well for me last would be dead second maniac and you know who is numero uno attila haas a war cry that will blow ol'scratchs' ear drums out the mighty, the strong but not dead because he wussed out like a poor little broken soul haha yeah we will miss his stage persona but there are always someone waiting in the shadows to weave the spell of black chaos and beauty
