  • Thumbs up if marry the night brought you here :)

  • @nendwr Totally agree. Must be a Steinway for Beethoven in my view.

  • all you are olds? just asking

  • very nicely played but far too slow I think

  • @SoliGrand if the allegro is cloudy and chaotic you need to be lighter with the peddle and release the keys more quickly. Think light like a feather in both your fingers and with your foot. I doesn't take a lot of pressure to create a wonderful sound in this allegro. Try playing it several times with no peddle at all and just listen. if the keys are clunky, it's too hard. You can make an upright sound amazing with the right touch.

  • Wow, awesome interpretation. It is very difficult to make this piece sound clear and well, it does. I'm playing it, too. Since a few months and one passage is very difficult for me, it's at 7:30 - 7:34. How can I practise that?

I'm playing it since a few days very slowly and I'm trying to get faster.

But at the speed of the allegro part it sounds like chaos.

btw I've got an upright piano, is this the reason?

    Regards :)

  • Lovely performance. It's so nice to hear this played by someone who understands that "allegro" does not mean "presto" -- as a result, this is magnificently intelligible. And that piano has a beautiful tone.
