It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 1 Part 1

Demi: (While putting her books into her locker, someone bumps into her causing all of her things to fall to the ground, sarcastically-) Thanks.
Taylor: Oops, did I do that? Im sorry (Fake frowns)
Demi: (She looks up and lets out a sigh) What is your problem?
Taylor: Losers like you (Smiles and walks away)
Joe: (Walks over and starts to help her pick up her books) Let me help you.
Demi: (Blushes) Thanks.
Joe: Taylor can be so rude sometimes, I apologize for her.
Demi: You dont have to, its okay, Im used to it by now.
Joe: (Looks at her in the eyes and smiles) Well you shouldnt have to put up with that.
Demi: (Slightly smiles, while gathering the rest of her books) Well, thanks, again.
Joe: Its Demi, right?
Demi: Yeah, and youre--
Joe: (Smiles) Joe. Its nice to make your acquaintance.
Demi: (Her smile fades) You too, but Ive got to get going.
Joe: You have English next right?
Demi: Howd you--
Joe: Im in that class too. Ill walk you.
Demi: (Blushes again) Okay.

*They walk to class together in silence*
Demi: (While pointing) My seats over there.
Joe: (Points the other way) Mines over there. So I guess Ill see you after class?
Demi: Um, yeah, I guess.

*Each leave and take their seats. For almost 10 minutes, they find each other just staring at one another. They couldnt seem to shift their gazes*

*With Demi*
Selena: So partners?
Demi: (Stays silent)
Selena: (Snaps in her face) Earth to Demi. Hello?!
Demi: (Looks at Selena) Oh, sorry Sel. Did you say something?
Selena: Yeah, I asked if you wanted to be partners for the project.
Demi: (Chuckles) Of course Sel, since when are we not?
Selena: (Laughs a bit too) I know Dem, what was I thinking anyways?
Demi: (As her eyes shift back to Joe, she sees him staring back at her and smiling) I dont know.
Selena: Dont tell me you and Joe--
Demi: (Looks back) What? No. Nothing. Lets get started on our project.
Selena: Oh, you still have a crush on him dont you?
Demi: (With a shocked expression) What are you talking about? I never had a crush on him.
Selena: (Starts chanting) Liar. Liar. Pants on fire.
Demi: Stop, okay. Fine I may have had a crush on him a long time ago. But I dont know. He talked to me for the first time today and it was weird. I barely know him other than what we hear around school. And Nick of course.
Selena: (Chants again) Demi and Joe, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.
Demi: (Hits her, and giggles) Shut up!

*With Joe*
Cody: So partners, man?
Joe: Um, actually I was thinking of asking Demi.
Cody: Whos Demi?
Joe: (Nods his head and smiles) Her.
Cody: Oh her. You still have a crush on her dont you?
Joe: (Panicking) What? No. She just seems smart. Maybe I can finally get an A.
Cody: (With an eyebrow raised, he rolls his eyes) Right man, whatever you say. Go get your A. But a word of advice, make sure shes not dating your best friend before you kiss her, okay?
Joe: (Looks at him) Still that huh? I though you forgave me for kissing Miley, man.
Cody: I did, just go okay, I was joking anyways.
Joe: (Gets up and starts towards where Demi and Selena were sitting) See you dude.

*Back to Demi*
Selena: So I was thinking, maybe we could do--
Joe: (Reaches their table) Hey Demi.
Demi: (Turns around, smiling) Hi
Selena: Hello to you too Joseph.
Joe: (Nods his head, looking at Demi)
Selena: (Rolls her eyes)
Joe: (Scratches the back of his head) So I was wondering if maybe you wanted to be my partner for the English project?
Demi: (Her smile fades) Oh, I cant Im--
Selena: Shed love to.
Demi: (Looks at Selena) What?!
Selena: (Smiles at her) Youre welcome.
Joe: (Half smiles) Um, great. So if you want we can meet outside after school and head to my house to work on it?
Demi: (Nods her head a bit) Sure.
Joe: So Ill catch you later?
Selena: (Before Demi could respond, she grabs her arm and they leave the room as the bell rings)

*In the hallway, next to the lockers*
Demi: Why did you do that Sel? Now you dont have a partner.
Selena: Its okay, I dont mind working by myself.
Cody: (Walks over to where Selena and Demi were standing) Hey Selena, Demi.
Selena and Demi: Hey.
Cody: So Selena, since our partners ditched us do you want to work together?
Selena: Well I was actually just going to do it on my own.
Demi: (Smiles) But since youre asking, yes, she will be your partner.
Selena: (Smiles too) I guess that would be okay.
Cody: Alright, well Ill see you tomorrow. We have the period to work on it, so
Selena: Okay, bye.
Cody: (Walks away).
Demi: There. Now I dont feel so bad. And you know.. (Smiles). Cody is kind of cute.
Selena: (Chuckles) I have a boyfriend, remember, his name is Nick?
Demi: (Laughs) Oh, right. I keep forgetting that I am the only single one around here.
Selena: (Grins) Not for much longer. Hey! We could totally double date. Seeing as how they ARE brothers.
Demi: Its just a project Sel, nothing more.
Selena: (Winks) Mhm. Okay.
